who we are

piesmiths started with a simple goal: make really nice pies.

we're a husband-and-wife team based in liverpool, making handmade pies from our production unit in wavertree. what began as a passion for cooking has grown into an award-winning business supplying customers across merseyside, as well as pubs, markets, weddings and corporate events.

dan looks after pie development and production, while hannah manages the day-to-day running of the business, from customer orders and events to everything else that keeps the wheels turning.

every pie is made by hand in small batches. we focus on good pastry, generous fillings and flavours we'd be happy to put our own name to.

over the years we've developed a range that includes both traditional favourites and a few more unusual creations, and we're proud to have won multiple awards at the british pie awards along the way.

although the business has grown, the approach hasn't changed. we still make every pie ourselves and care just as much about the quality of the hundredth pie as we do the first.

whether you're picking up a pie for home, ordering for an event, or finding us at a market, our aim is simple: make really nice pies and make them well.
